Our trips are mostly escorted by owners Kent and Allison VanArnam, who bring over 20 years of winery expertise and extensive global travel knowledge to create seamless, unforgettable journeys.
What types of tours do you offer?
Our tours are small group escorted adventures for 12 to 16 travelers, emphasizing viticulture, premier destinations, and off-the-beaten-path experiences. Upcoming trips include:
Germany/Austria/Italy: Drive your own Porsche 911 through stunning landscapes (August 26 - September 2, 2026).
Corsica, France: Explore the Mediterranean's most beautiful island (September 5-12, 2026).
Slovenia: Hike, e-bike, raft, and taste wines around stunning lakes (September 15-23, 2026).
Tuscany, Italy: Stay in a private villa with Michelin dining, cooking classes, and vintage Fiat drives (September 25 - October 2, 2026). We can also customize inquiries for other dream destinations.
What is included in the trip price?
Our all-inclusive packages cover everything except international airfare to the destination. This includes comfortable lodging, meals (with a focus on local cuisine and wine pairings), ground transportation, guided excursions, entrance fees, and unique activities like Porsche rentals or cooking classes. We handle all logistics so you can focus on the adventure.
What if I’m traveling as a single?
You’re very welcome to join us as a solo traveler – we’ve had many singles travel with us over the years and they always have a fantastic time!
Here are your options:
Private room: If you prefer your own room, we offer a single supplement (the exact amount is listed on each trip’s detailed itinerary page). This guarantees you a room for yourself with no need to share.
Willing to share: If you’re open to rooming with another traveler of the same gender, we’ll happily pair you up. There is no single supplement in this case, and many lifelong friendships have started this way on our trips!
Traveling with a friend or family member: If you already know another single traveler on the trip, you can request to share a twin room together (two separate beds) at the regular per-person rate – no supplement applies.
Just let us know your preference when you inquire or book, and we’ll take care of the rest. Solo travelers fit right in with our friendly, small groups!
What is the group size for your tours?
To ensure an intimate and personalized experience, we limit groups to 12-16 travelers. This allows for deeper connections with fellow adventurers, local experts, and the destinations themselves, while keeping the pace relaxed and enjoyable.
Who leads the tours?
Most trips are escorted by Kent and Allison VanArnam, the owners of VanArnam Adventures. With their background in building a winery in Washington's Yakima Valley and decades of travel across Europe, South America, Central America, and Australia, they leverage personal relationships with winemakers, restaurateurs, and transportation providers to deliver authentic, insider access.We have just recently added a very special to our team…Becki Trout. Do I need a passport or any special requirements?
Yes, a valid passport is required for all our international trips, and it should be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. We recommend checking visa requirements for your specific nationality and destination in advance. No special licenses are needed for activities like driving Porsches, as we provide all necessary insurance and guidance.
